Outreach Exhibition 2012 · A Celebration of Voices

March 16 – April 4, 2012

Opening Reception: Saturday, March 17, 2012 · 1-3 pm

This exhibition celebrates the inspiring and colorful work created by participants in the Art Center’s outreach programs. Main Line Art Center is proud to be one of the leading visual arts organizations in the region to make art accessible to diverse groups in our community. Programs are designed to reach underserved audiences including children, teens and adults with disabilities, at-risk youth and low-income adults and families.

Join us on Sat., March 17 from 1-3 pm for our free opening reception, featuring music by local musician Aaron Ross. Aaron graduated from the Vanguard School in Malvern, PA. He began playing the violin when he was 11 years old at Penn Wynne Elementary School and credits learning how to read from his the skills he used to learn how to read music. He has performed in four professional Bluegrass competitions and also plays the guitar and keyboard. Aaron recently opened for Gretchen Wilson’s Country on Ice. Aaron has also been an ice skater for the Special Olympics since 1994 and won 10th in the nation for the northeast division, with over 70 gold medals under his belt.
