Join Main Line Art Center for an art supply swap! Bring the tools and supplies that have been collecting dust in your studio, and leave with new and inspiring supplies to create your next masterpiece. Sample the art supplies that others brought and see if you find the creative tools you’ve been looking for.
How It Works: Drop off supplies in the Art Center kitchen from February 26 through March 1 in a box or bag clearly labeled with your first and last name. Your items will be assessed by Andrea Snyder, our art swap curator, who will assign you swap tickets based on the sellable value of what you brought. The tickets will be waiting for you at the ticket table during the Art Supply Swap in the gallery. Then, start shopping! Want to bring items on March 2, the day of the swap? Take them straight to the gallery by 12:30 pm and receive your tickets. Then from 12:30 to 3:30 pm, browse a treasure trove of unique and useful, new and gently used art supplies. If you don’t have any supplies to swap, you can also purchase items with cash or personal check only.
What to Bring: We’ll be seeking and selling new and gently used quality art supplies for all visual mediums, including: sculpture, photography, pottery, painting, drawing, printmaking, jewelry, and more…
Surplus Items: All supplies that are not selected during the swap will be donated to a worthy charity.
