Accessible Art Program Volunteers

Like us, you believe in the power of art to change people’s lives regardless of their age or ability. You have a passion for learning, and sharing what you learn with others. Patient, caring, and empathetic, you treat others with respect and dignity at all times. Sound like you? Support our Accessible Art Programs by volunteering your time!

I started volunteering through Main Line Art Center’s Outreach program at the Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired in order to gain more firsthand experience teaching and become more involved in the community. It has been a wonderful experience, allowing me to observe other teachers teach and interact with students without having to be in charge of my own class. Over a year later, I am still enjoying volunteering at CBVI, and I am now also teaching art to adults with disabilities almost full time.

— Jessica Curtaz, Volunteer
