Main Line Art Center is proud to offer creative classes to four of Elwyn’s community and school programs that serve children, teens and young adults with developmental disabilities. Each program will complement the program curriculum and provide students the opportunity to work in a variety of media, including drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture and more. Students will learn the fundamentals of art as they develop their cognitive and fine motor skills, as well as develop a creative and visual vocabulary in a fun and social atmosphere.
Founded in 1852 to care for children with intellectual disabilities, Elwyn has been providing services to the community for over 155 years. Today, Elwyn is nationally recognized as a pioneer in developing groundbreaking programs for children and adults with disabilities and disadvantages.
