Unframed & Uncorked Art Sale

Grab a glass of wine and get ready to browse through the amazing work by almost 80 talented artists from our community! Back by popular demand to stimulate art sales in this tough economy, Unframed & Uncorked Art Sale is a one-night-only, fun and informal sale of 2-D unframed art and fine crafts. Please bring your cash or check book, as many artists will not be able to accept credit cards. In-kind support by Barefoot Wine and Bubbly and Cabot Creamery.
Special Printmaking Demo:
Don't miss Teaching Artist Andrea Snyder's demonstration of collography, a modern printmaking technique, from 6:30-8:30 pm. A Collagraph is the printed result of a collage, where a variety of materials are glued onto a thin base and printed as a combination relief/intaglio plate. The plate is inked and then wiped so that some ink remains in textures and on surfaces. Andrea will print a collage of acrylic pastes, cardboard, jute, and found material on a cardboard plate sealed with acrylic medium.
