For the first time, the Art Center presents In-Depth as a unique opportunity for five artists, chosen by a select panel of three prestigious jurors, to have solo shows in its spacious galleries. Each artist will occupy their own space.

About the Jurors:
Shelley Spector is an artist, curator and teacher. Her "do it yourself" temperament and experience as a working artist informs her activities as a curator and teacher. In 1999, she created SPECTOR Projects/Gallery an art program that has bolstered the careers of local and emerging artists and energized the Philadelphia art scene through exhibitions, events, and multimedia curatorial projects. She teaches at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore.
Christopher Moore Schmidt is an artist and Director of Schmidt-Dean Gallery in Philadelphia. Christopher has exhibited his photographs throughout the region and has works in public collections at the Federal Reserve Bank in Philadelphia, Wilmington Trust in Delaware and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey and also studied at Richmond College in London.
Deborah Mangel was co-owner of the Mangel Gallery from 1970 – 2006. She is currently on the Exhibition Committee of Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
