Because tuition alone does not fully cover all the costs of running the amazing classes we offer each session, and since many of our programs are free and open to the public, we rely on contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.  Your tax deductible contributions provide direct support for classes, workshops, exhibitions, lectures, trips, and outreach programs that reach over 10,000 enthusiastic students and patrons of the arts each year.

There are a number of ways you can makes it possible for the Art Center to fulfill its mission to promote the appreciation of the arts and the growth of diverse audiences by offering a variety of high quality programs and instruction for artists of all ages and abilities:

Annual Fund

Unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund are tax deductible contributions and help sustain the wide array of cultural programs Main Line Art Center offers the community.  All gifts of $170 or more include household membership and exclusive contributing member premiums.  See this year’s Contributing Membership Benefits.

Donations may be made in memory or in honor of a friend or family member.

Corporate Sponsorship 

Corporate sponsorship helps underwrite exhibition openings and special events at Main Line Art Center.  By demonstrating support for the arts, businesses reach a large audience of art patrons and community members.  Businesses can also participate by underwriting artist prizes for juried exhibitions, and through the donation of in-kind gifts and services.

Naming Opportunities

Special naming opportunities are available for major support of capital improvements and endowment of programs and scholarships.

Planned Giving

We encourage you to remember Main Line Art Center in your estate planning.  Please consider one or both of the following planned giving options:

  • Wills - One of the easiest ways to provide future support for the Art Center is to include it in your will.  Outright bequests are fully deductible for federal estate tax purposes.  In general, they are also exempt from state inheritance tax.
  • Life Insurance - You may also designate Main Line Art Center as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
